Hi there! I'm Dakota Magden. I'm the trainer, here at the Ranch. I grew up on the back of a horse. I've been riding since I was 3 years old. I have worked with my mom helping break and train horses for 15 years. Through out the years, I have learned  that no horse is like another. That you have to learn how to ride and work that horse. Not train the horse how you want to ride. My mom says it's like raising kids, what works for some doesn't always work with others. You figure out what works and what doesn't and go with it. One of the biggest tips I can give someone, to help them and their horse be successful, is that you have to be consistent. Your horse is a direct result of the time and effort you're willing to put into them. I grew up trail riding and rodeoing. If, I wasn't at a rodeo on the weekend, I was in the mountains riding.

I specialize in colt starting, trail riding, and barrel racing. I can help start your horse off in the right direction with a solid foundation. I'm able to help give your horse the confidence they need to get down the trail. I can also help you and your horse start the barrel pattern correctly and help give them the foundation they need to become a great barrel horse. I along with barrel racing also teach other gaming events.

"To change your horse, you must first change yourself".

We use humane, horse-focused training to bring out the best in each horse. We specialize in training horses for pleasure riding, trail riding, trail competition and gaming events, such as barrel racing, pole bending, and goat tying.
Riding enjoyment results from a mutual understanding between rider and horse. Children and adults of varying abilities are welcome. For beginning riders, lessons are provided on our lesson horses. We have about 5 lesson horses to choose from. You're also welcome to haul your horse into our facility to take your lesson on. We encourage riders to learn how to work with their horse both on the ground and under saddle.

Whatever kind of training you are looking for, we can do it here at the Hidden-M-Ranch, or travel to your house, as long as the right facility is provided. We have a nice indoor riding facility for the winter time when its wet and rainy outside or for when its to hot or to cold to ride outside. We also have a huge outdoor arena available when the weather permits. At the Hidden-M-Ranch we have well over 4 hours worth of trail riding available
